VelocityWithCovarianceStampedSubscriber QML Type

Subscribes to geometry_msgs::msg::VelocityWithCovarianceStamped messages — A timestamped velocity of a body whose frame is 'body_frame_id', measured relative to the reference frame 'reference_frame_id', with the velocity and covariance both expressed in the basis of the observation frame 'header.frame_id'. Detailed Description

- If 'body_frame_id' and 'header.frame_id' are identical, the velocity and covariance are expressed in the body's own basis. This is functionally equivalent to the body-twist convention used by 'geometry_msgs/TwistStamped'.

This message is the covariance-bearing analogue of 'geometry_msgs/VelocityStamped'.

VelocityWithCovarianceStampedSubscriber receives velocityWithCovarianceStamped values from a ROS 2 topic. Set the topic and node properties, then connect to the messageReceived() signal.

See also VelocityWithCovarianceStampedPublisher and velocityWithCovarianceStamped.

Property Documentation

bodyFrameId : string

The bodyFrameId field of the last received message. Updated whenever a new message arrives. bodyFrameIdChanged is emitted on every update.

header : header

The header field of the last received message. Updated whenever a new message arrives. headerChanged is emitted on every update.

message : velocityWithCovarianceStamped

The last message received on topic. Updated whenever a new message arrives.

referenceFrameId : string

The referenceFrameId field of the last received message. Updated whenever a new message arrives. referenceFrameIdChanged is emitted on every update.

velocity : twistWithCovariance

The velocity field of the last received message. Updated whenever a new message arrives. velocityChanged is emitted on every update.

Signal Documentation

messageReceived(velocityWithCovarianceStamped msg)

Emitted when a new velocityWithCovarianceStamped arrives on topic. msg contains the received value.

Note: The corresponding handler is onMessageReceived.
