Detailed Description

It is recommended to create your own semantically meaningful message. However if you would like to continue using this please use the equivalent in example_msgs.

Please look at the MultiArrayLayout message definition for documentation on all multiarrays.

Int16MultiArrayPublisher publishes int16MultiArray values to a ROS 2 topic. Set the topic and node properties, then call publish() to send messages.

Property Documentation

data : list<int16_t>

The data field value included in the next publish. Setting this property emits dataChanged and, when autoPublish is true, requests a publish at the end of the current event-loop iteration.

layout : multiArrayLayout

The layout field value included in the next publish. Setting this property emits layoutChanged and, when autoPublish is true, requests a publish at the end of the current event-loop iteration.

Method Documentation

void publish(int16MultiArray msg)

Publishes int16MultiArray msg to the ROS 2 topic set by the topic property. Does nothing if the publisher is not connected.
