Detailed Description

ServicePublisher publishes service values to a ROS 2 topic. Set the topic and node properties, then call publish() to send messages.

name : string

The name field value included in the next publish. Setting this property emits nameChanged and, when autoPublish is true, requests a publish at the end of the current event-loop iteration.

requestQos : qoSProfile

The requestQos field value included in the next publish. Setting this property emits requestQosChanged and, when autoPublish is true, requests a publish at the end of the current event-loop iteration.

requestType : interfaceType

The requestType field value included in the next publish. Setting this property emits requestTypeChanged and, when autoPublish is true, requests a publish at the end of the current event-loop iteration.

responseQos : qoSProfile

The responseQos field value included in the next publish. Setting this property emits responseQosChanged and, when autoPublish is true, requests a publish at the end of the current event-loop iteration.

responseType : interfaceType

The responseType field value included in the next publish. Setting this property emits responseTypeChanged and, when autoPublish is true, requests a publish at the end of the current event-loop iteration.

void publish(service msg)

Publishes service msg to the ROS 2 topic set by the topic property. Does nothing if the publisher is not connected.
