Detailed Description

TransitionEventPublisher publishes transitionEvent values to a ROS 2 topic. Set the topic and node properties, then call publish() to send messages.

goalState : state

The goalState field value included in the next publish. Setting this property emits goalStateChanged and, when autoPublish is true, requests a publish at the end of the current event-loop iteration.

startState : state

The startState field value included in the next publish. Setting this property emits startStateChanged and, when autoPublish is true, requests a publish at the end of the current event-loop iteration.

timestamp : uint64_t

The timestamp field value included in the next publish. Setting this property emits timestampChanged and, when autoPublish is true, requests a publish at the end of the current event-loop iteration.

transition : transition

The transition field value included in the next publish. Setting this property emits transitionChanged and, when autoPublish is true, requests a publish at the end of the current event-loop iteration.

Method Documentation

void publish(transitionEvent msg)

Publishes transitionEvent msg to the ROS 2 topic set by the topic property. Does nothing if the publisher is not connected.
