Detailed Description

Because the parameter event was an atomic update, a specific parameter name can only be in one of the three sets.

ParameterEventPublisher publishes parameterEvent values to a ROS 2 topic. Set the topic and node properties, then call publish() to send messages.

changedParameters : list<parameter>

The changedParameters field value included in the next publish. Setting this property emits changedParametersChanged and, when autoPublish is true, requests a publish at the end of the current event-loop iteration.

deletedParameters : list<parameter>

The deletedParameters field value included in the next publish. Setting this property emits deletedParametersChanged and, when autoPublish is true, requests a publish at the end of the current event-loop iteration.

newParameters : list<parameter>

The newParameters field value included in the next publish. Setting this property emits newParametersChanged and, when autoPublish is true, requests a publish at the end of the current event-loop iteration.

stamp : time

The stamp field value included in the next publish. Setting this property emits stampChanged and, when autoPublish is true, requests a publish at the end of the current event-loop iteration.

void publish(parameterEvent msg)

Publishes parameterEvent msg to the ROS 2 topic set by the topic property. Does nothing if the publisher is not connected.
