Detailed Description

ActionPublisher publishes action values to a ROS 2 topic. Set the topic and node properties, then call publish() to send messages.

cancelGoal : service

The cancelGoal field value included in the next publish. Setting this property emits cancelGoalChanged and, when autoPublish is true, requests a publish at the end of the current event-loop iteration.

feedback : topic

The feedback field value included in the next publish. Setting this property emits feedbackChanged and, when autoPublish is true, requests a publish at the end of the current event-loop iteration.

getResult : service

The getResult field value included in the next publish. Setting this property emits getResultChanged and, when autoPublish is true, requests a publish at the end of the current event-loop iteration.

name : string

The name field value included in the next publish. Setting this property emits nameChanged and, when autoPublish is true, requests a publish at the end of the current event-loop iteration.

sendGoal : service

The sendGoal field value included in the next publish. Setting this property emits sendGoalChanged and, when autoPublish is true, requests a publish at the end of the current event-loop iteration.

status : topic

The status field value included in the next publish. Setting this property emits statusChanged and, when autoPublish is true, requests a publish at the end of the current event-loop iteration.

Method Documentation

void publish(action msg)

Publishes action msg to the ROS 2 topic set by the topic property. Does nothing if the publisher is not connected.
