Version 4.0.0 Pro

Test Center 4.0.0 Pro is a major release, that introduces test plans and automated Squish test execution. See the following sections for a complete list of all changes.

Test Plans

Test Plans can be used to define which tests should be run on which configuration during your test cycles. Depending on the type of test cycle you can define many different test plans and easily re-use them between builds and releases. Besides simplifying the organization of manual test cycles, they are also a great tool to verify the completeness of your testing. You can learn more about using test plans for manual testing here.

Squish Test Execution

With test plans and the repository integration as a foundation, Test Center now also supports executing Squish tests. Test Center can now locate your Squish test cases within linked repositories, and you can add them to a test plan, and schedule the test plan for execution. Test Center will pick a squish server that matches the configuration of the planned test run, and execute the test, once the scheduled time is reached. You can learn more about automated test execution here.
